Dentistry On The Path in downtown Toronto is led by Dr. Yolanda Cruz, DDS — founding general dentist since 1990, with clinical focus in TMD/TMJ treatment, sleep apnea, cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign, dental implants, and the Pinhole Surgical Technique. The practice also includes Dr. Youssef Azer, DDS (University of Toronto, practising since 2022) and Dr. Maziar Shahzad Dowlatshahi, DDS (periodontics and implant dentistry, practising since 2000). The office is located at 390 Bay St., Concourse Level, on Toronto's PATH network, and can be reached at 416-595-5490.

Dr. Yolanda Cruz has practised general dentistry in downtown Toronto since 1990 — over thirty-five years caring for the same families, same neighbours, same workplaces. She's supported by two associate doctors and a multi-decade team of certified dental hygienists, dental assistants, and treatment coordinators.

Dr. Youssef Azer

University of Toronto graduate — Practising since 2022

Doctor of Dental Surgery, DDS.

Dr. Youssef Azer completed his dental degree in Cairo, Egypt, in 2017 before moving to Canada to further his education and training. He graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry in 2022 and now provides comprehensive dental care with a special interest in endodontic treatment, including root canal therapy.

Dr. Azer is committed to helping patients relieve pain, treat dental infections, and preserve their natural teeth in a calm and comfortable environment.

Areas of Focus:
Endodontics and root canal therapy, restorative dentistry, complex tooth extractions and wisdom teeth removal, cosmetic dentistry, and preventive care.
