T-Scan

T-Scan

T-Scan

At Yolanda Cruz Dentistry, we use T-Scan™ Novus ™ to evaluate our patient’s bite with digital technology.

We offer T-Scan, dentistry’s only clinically recognized and research validated digital occlusion analysis system.

With T-Scan, the Dr. Cruz can identify occlusal issues and treat them even before they become a problem. Instead of relying on what the patient feels, Dr. Cruz uses the state-of-the-art, digital software to identify premature contacts, visualize high forces, and interrelationship of occlusal surfaces. This technology helps to provide a visual representation of the patient’s bite, document occlusal data and track the changes in the patient’s bite over time.

Whether eliminating destructive forces on a new restoration, or performing an occlusal analysis and adjustment procedure, Dr. Cruz uses T-Scan to balance her patients’ occlusions with precision and accuracy.

Yolanda Cruz, DDS Performs Chao Pinhole® Surgical Technique in Toronto, Ontario

Gum recession breakthrough treatment also known as Pinhole Gum Rejuvenation™ and Lunchtime Gum Lift™

The Chao Pinhole® Surgical Technique (PST®), invented and patented by John Chao, D.D.S., is a scalpel-free, suture-free procedure for treating gum recession.

First, Dr. Yolanda Cruz performs the procedure by making a small hole with a needle in the gum tissue. Then, using specially designed instruments, Dr. Cruz will loosen the gum tissue and guide it over the receded part of the tooth. Since there is no incision or suturing, patients can expect minimal post-operative symptoms (pain, swelling and bleeding). Our patients are pleasantly surprised by the instant cosmetic improvement.

Orthodontic Dentistry

Orthodontic Dentistry

We offer a full range of orthodontic treatments at the offices of Dr. Yolanda Cruz. Orthodontic dentistry is a branch of dentistry focused on preventing and correcting irregularities in teeth and jaw placement. Crooked teeth are difficult to clean due to tight spaces and they also increase the stress on chewing muscles. As a result, this can lead to headaches, neck and back pain. At Dr. Yolanda Cruz Dentistry in Toronto, we have orthodontic dentistry options for patients of all ages. Along with traditional braces, our Toronto dental offices also offers Invisalign aligners. Orthodontic treatment aligns the teeth, improves your smile, and consequently increases the life of the teeth.
