Now Accepting CDCP Patients
The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) is a government-funded program designed to make dental care more accessible and affordable for eligible Canadians. If you qualify, the plan helps cover essential dental services to support your oral health. We proudly accept CDCP patients and provide quality care.
Who is Eligible for the CDCP?
You may be eligible for the CDCP if you:
Do not have private dental insurance
This means you are not covered by a workplace or personal dental plan.
Income Threshold
Your annual adjusted family net income is less than $90,000.
Are a Canadian resident
You must live in Canada and meet residency requirements.
Have filed your tax return for the previous year
A recent tax return is required to verify eligibility.
Eligible Canadians of all ages can now apply for the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP).

What Dental Services Are Covered?
The CDCP covers a range of preventive and essential dental treatments, including:
- Examinations and X-rays
- Cleanings and fluoride treatments
- Fillings for cavities
- Root canal treatments on select teeth
- Extractions when necessary
- Partial and complete dentures
Coverage details may vary based on the type of procedure and individual eligibility. Some services may require co-payments if your household income exceeds $70,000.
Please note: At Dentistry on the Path, we follow the Ontario Dental Association (ODA) fee guide. Any costs beyond what is covered by the CDCP may result in out-of-pocket expenses for patients.
